Text messaging

Text message terms, help and opt-out

MoveGuild is a professional network for moving companies, crews, drivers and owner-operators. If you received a text from us, a verified MoveGuild member entered your mobile number to invite you into the guild and vouch for your work.

To stop messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or email support@moveguild.com.

What you can expect

Who sends the messages

MoveGuild sends them on behalf of the member who invited you. The message names that member and their company so you know who put your name forward. We never send on behalf of advertisers or third parties.

Message frequency

One invitation message. If you do not open the link, one single reminder four days later. Nothing after that. Once you join, you only receive messages tied to your own account and activity, such as an application status update — and you can stop those at any time.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. Your number is added to our do-not-text list, and members cannot invite that number again. You can also email support@moveguild.com and ask us to remove your number.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for contact information, or email support@moveguild.com. A person answers — we would rather explain the invitation than have you wonder who texted you.

Costs and carriers

MoveGuild does not charge for messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.

Your number stays yours

We never sell, rent or share mobile numbers with third parties for marketing. Numbers are used only to deliver the invitation described above and are handled as set out in our privacy policy.

For members

Rules for inviting someone by text

Referrals are the backbone of the guild, and they only work if every message lands with someone who is glad to get it.
  • Invite people you actually know and work with — not lists, not numbers you bought or scraped.
  • Confirm you have their permission to text them. You check that box before an invitation goes out, and we keep the record.
  • One invitation at a time. No bulk uploads, and no more than 25 invitations waiting at once.
  • If someone replies STOP, that is final. Their number is blocked from further invitations, including yours.
